My Arysta Scam Experience
























I want to share this experience I encountered to give warning to people, especially to my Igorot kababayans unknowingly becoming victims of these deceptive sales malpractices of Arysta Marketing located at the Porta Vaga building Baguio City.


November 4, 2009. I was just strolling around Porta Vaga not even thinking of buying something, when a lady in semi formal attire approached me and gave me a card stating a free item offering. She convinced me to follow her to claim that free item. Of my curiosity, because it is free, I went up with her in the upper floor and we entered a room labeled Arysta. I saw several staffs in formal attire; some were in semi formal that made them look somewhat respectable. The staffs were polite, that almost everybody shook hands with me. (Ngem props gayam amin dagijay. Para di mahalata na may kalokohan sila gagawin sa akin sa pagbebenta ng kanilang mga products). Their being friendly, neat-looking, and respectable looking are just coverings to mask their bad intentions to part from the hard earned money of their customers.

I was led into a chair, they were calling a massage chair, and as soon as I sat, they turned on a switch which made its mechanisms move and I felt something’s massaging my back. At first, it was irritating, I tried to stand but they told me to sit first for a while. They gave me the free item that I was to claim. Somebody demonstrated how it will be used. They explained that it was a door alarm. There were at least three staffs talking to me, helping each other gave explanations about its use. They even told stories of them being attacked by thieves during the night. Some asked me personal questions and gave flattering comments like, “taga saan kayo sir?”, “anung trabaho nyo sir”, “malapit ba kayo sa sagada sir”, “may asawa na ba kayo sir” “ang pogi naman ni sir”, “ang sipag naman mag-aral ni sir”, and many more phrases just to make them look friendly and get me closer to them. As I was to walk away, they insisted that they want to show me their products and introduced me some whereabouts of their company. They said that they have 33 branches in the Philippines, and many other branches in Asia, showing me a magazine picturing out the locations. Somebody demonstrated the induction cooker, which made me say “wow” “it’s great”. They said that its price is P73,000. I was discouraged and said the price is too high. I stood up again and was about to go when they asked me if I want to try their company raffle offering. I said ok, (dito na nagsimula ang kanilang mga kalokohan at pag-aarte) and somebody immediately brought an envelope and they told me to open it. I heard many comments like “lilibre mo kami sir”, “sa jolibee”, “sa mcDO”, “kapag walang nakalagay jan wag mo kami sisihin sir” somewhat like that. As I opened it, more staffs came shouting and clapping, even jumping, shaking hands with me, as I pulled the gift certificate worth 2000 pesos from the envelope. “Napakaswerte nyo naman sir”, “Kayo pa lang sa branch ang nakakuha ng ganyan”, “yung iba five hundred lang”. I was about to stand as I was saying “tara na ikain na natin yan” but they said “tignan muna natin mga conditions na nasa likod” one of the staffs read to me some phrases in a very fast way.
These are some of what I can remember:
“The gift certificate may be used to purchase any of their participating products”
“It is not convertible to cash”
“If used the purchaser is entitled free samples…I can’t remember the products”
“That the gift certificate is valid for that day only”

Almost everybody were already talking, clapping, shouting, jumping, to distract me and just focus on the big prize which they were trying to figure out to convince me, GIVING ME NO TIME TO THINK. DISTURBING ME. I was really thinking at that time that I won. I was already convinced by their acts.

Then another staff came running to inform me that I hit again a jackpot because I won a T.V. cabinet Home Theater, and a beautymate massager, they even computed its price showing high prices for the T.V. cabinet P50,900 and the beautymate massager I can’t remember the price. “Sir may ireregalo ka na sa girlfriend mo”. One staff came screaming that it’s confirmed that I won and everybody again came shaking hands with me, clapping, shouting, (Mga artista talaga. Napakagagaling nila umarte, Paniwalang-paniwala na talaga ako sa mga oras na yun sa ginagawa nila, I was thinking at that time I am very lucky, I even texted my brother that I won a big prize). Somebody shouted “Ikaw lang ang jackpot winner sa branch at may pag-asa ka pa makasali sa raffle ng Toyota Innova”, “Dalhin mo kmi sir sa sagada kapag nanalo ka ng Innova”.

Then a phone was handed to me with a female voice on the other end. She told me to dictate the DTI number daw na nakasulat sa gift certificate or on the Jackpot prize document. She even asked me some questions like, “am I related to any employee of Arysta”, “do I know Janice”, Janice was the one who brought me inside their shop, I answered no to all the questions, then she congratulated me. All the other employees surrounded me, clapping, cheering, shouting, jumping, they were all acting very EXCITED, just to show me I was really very lucky, while others shook hands with me.

The drama continued. They let me show the logo of my cellphone to know daw whether I’m a globe or smart subscriber. Immediately somebody brought a set of stainless steel flatware saying that it was a bonus freebie supposedly worth more than P15,000. They even asked me if my bank account is over 50K or less than 50K. They asked questions if I have a credit card, ATM card, whether I have a car, cable connection at home, and many more questions. Then for every answer they allotted points like 1 point for this, 2 points for this, etc. Then another prize was offered to me because of my points. At that time I am feeling really lucky and I was thinking I really won a big prize because of what they were doing.

Somebody explained that they were doing such because it is a kind of an advertisement for their company, instead of paying it for T.V. ads, they want to directly endorse products to their customers.

Some papers with questions to be answered were handed to me. They said that I’ll just check the options written as my answers. As I can recall, survey questions like “What do you like most in our company?” with several options to be checked, etc. I can’t remember the other questions.

Then a lady staff came running showing me a printed paper stating that I was chosen as the company advertiser of their branch. As I was sitting down the turbulent massaging chair, everybody again came congratulating me, shouting, clapping, and uttering flattering words, while somebody continuously tested the massager on my arm and lower leg. “Napakagwapo ng magiging company advertiser natin”. “Napakaswerte talaga ni sir”. Their actions, and facial reactions really made me believe that what was happening was true.

I was already thinking of getting the prize I got. I again stood up but one staff told me that I have to choose one product to buy before I get the prizes. She asked me which of their products I liked most, I pointed to the induction cooker which she made a demonstration earlier. She showed me the price and it was P53, 900. She lessened P2000 for the gift certificate.

Actually at this time, I was already totally convinced by them, because of what they showed, their deceiving actions, their acts that made me believe I really won, all the prices, the freebies, the way they jumped, clapped, their acts of EXCITEMENT made me bring down my guards against them.

“Ano kukunin nyo na ba sir?” “Sige dalhin na natin sa bahay nyo?” “Samahan nyo na si sir magwithdraw”. “Ano samahan nyo na si sir magwithdraw, over the counter“. Lahat sila nagmamadali, minamadali ako, all the products were already ready and packed to be transported. They even took pictures of me in front of the scripted prizes I won. “Ilalagay natin yan sa magazine namin”. I was asked to pay them P51,900 and I willingly said yes. I told them I have no money yet and asked me to leave a deposit money. I gave P3000 which I took from my bag.

Until that time, I never thought negatively of what had just happened, instead I texted my brother and sister about winning a jackpot prize. I was really somewhat brainwashed by their deceitful acts that until that time I’m thinking I was lucky. Together with three staffs, we took a taxi and transported the products to my uncle’s house at Betag, La Trinidad. When we passed by the Land Bank just in front of the Benguet State University main gate, I went to withdraw P50,000 pesos using the ATM machine. I don’t know what happened to me that time where in fact, normally it’s very hard for me to withdraw even P500. We delivered the products, even tested each inside my uncle’s house, but we did not set up even though the staffs who accompanied me insisted of setting it up. After testing, the products were brought back inside their packages.

Before we went back to the shop, I even fed those staffs who accompanied me in a restaurant(Jacks restaurant). As we were eating, they kept on receiving phone calls which made me no curious about. Then we took a taxi, and as soon as we arrived at their shop in Porta Vaga , I handed them my P48,900 as an additional payment to the P3000 I deposited earlier. The transaction happened so fast. I didn’t notice that I have already spent that amount of money for things I don’t really need.

When I was already walking home alone, that was the only time na natauhan na siguro ako. I was already thinking of my money and the things that I bought. Nanghihinayang na ako. I kept on saying to myself, what happened to me why did I buy those unnecessary things. Until the night after that day I was thinking of what happened. I already realized that I made a wrong move. I was thinking of the products I bought and the way I earned my money. Sa isip-isip ko, saan ko kaya naman gagamitin yung mga nabili ko? Bakit ko naman binili mga yun? Para saan ba mga gamit na yun? These questions were some of the questions that kept crossing my mind.

My realizations made me decide to just accept what I did, and to console myself I just thought “anyway I have bought products that I may use in the future”.

It was November 5, 2009
From Baguio, I went down to Nueva Ecija but still I keep on thinking of what had happened to me. I felt that I was really tricked by the Arysta staffs. I recalled what happened and realized that I did not really win a prize instead I was fooled by the company staffs. As soon as I arrived home, I tried to search the internet about the company ‘Arysta’ and their products. What made me feel like hell were the search results I read which were all against Arysta and some other companies, I’ve also read web pages/blogs written by victims of other companies which stated almost the same strategies in luring their victims. The stories written were almost the same as what had happened to me. I googled for Inextron products because this was the brand name of the products I saw in my receipts. The results made me doubt about the products’ authenticity. There were no search results telling any local or international distributors carrying that brand. What I found were people trying to sell their units same as what I bought (maybe these people were previous victims also of these several deceptive companies). I even read postings telling the same story as what had happened to me.

I was very uneasy and anger is already bursting out of me, while thinking of what to do, I saw on the receipt they issued me a stamped 7-day money back guarantee. This boosted my belief that I can return the products I got to get my money back. By reading some forum postings about almost the same sales scams, I immediately decided to return the products I bought and to ask refund for my money. I texted my uncle in La Trinidad telling him that I’ll be going up and will return the products. I told him to get the items ready that as soon as I arrive there, we will take it to the Arysta shop. I rode my motorcycle and after 3 hours, I arrived at my uncle’s house in La Trinidad where the products were. We took the products to the the Arysta shop. With my uncle, we manually carried those heavy items from the parking lot going to the shop. At first, the staffs were just staring at us. Then somebody from them politely asked me what happened. “Ano po problema sir?”, “May sira po ba sir?”, “Bakit nyo po binabalik sir”. I just said I am returning the products bacause I don’t need their products. I told them we did not use any of the items. Then somebody told me that I should then have decided first before I bought the items (e ayaw nga nila ako pinag-iisip noong mga oras na yun, they kept on pressuring me and didn’t give me time to think and decide as they were bombarding me with their sales convincing tactics). I told them to give me my money back and i’ll return all the products I got, even the freebies. “Sir kailangan po kasi natin sumunod sa SOP ng company, di po basta basta na nirerefund ang mga returned products”, one of the staffs explained. They kept on asking me, “bakit nyo ibabalik, dapat kahapon pa”. I told them I am returning the products I bought because of a personal reason. I told them that what they did to me to let me buy their products was foolishness and that’s the reason I want to return the items. Then another staff approached me telling he is the OIC, and talked to me calmly because he noticed I am already getting angry that even my uncle was already arguing with another staff. He said “ok maayos natin yan makipag cooperate lang po kayo sa amin”. I even asked them about what I read from the internet. “Are you related to Home Sonic or AOWA?”. One staff immediately responded that they are not related in any way with those companies I mentioned. I even asked them why were their strategies/procedures/actings on how they convinced me to withdraw P50,000 without any hesitation were almost the same with what I read being done by Home Sonic people to their victims. Nobody responded and they just insisted that they can show us permits that they are allowed to perform game strategies in marketing their products. They let me fill up a complaint form. They said that it will be mailed to their customer service and it will not take long for me to get refunded. They assured me that by the next day I will be called by their customer service to update me about the status of my complaint. I insisted for them to receive the products we returned but they refused saying that they are doing inventory of items every day and we should first keep the items. So I agreed that we again get the items back and we were assured that their customer service will call me to bring back the items and settle the refund I am claiming. We went home that evening carrying again the heavy items.

My situation became more difficult because I still have a scheduled training the next day Nov 6, 2009, to be the lecturer. I went down again to Nueva Ecija using my motorcycle. It was already past 12 midnight when I arrived home. As soon as I arrived, I prepared the things I will be needing the next day and went immediately to our office where there is an available internet connection. I waited for the next day and spent the rest of the night reading related articles from the net on these sales malpractices being rampant in the Philippines. I didn’t sleep and even spent time reading the CONSUMERS ACT of the Philippines and found out several provisions violated by the Arysta people.
--> These were just some of what I've read:
"Under the Consumer Act, sales are deemed deceptive when there is evident misrepresentation of facts."

"A sale is also considered unconscionable when the seller, distributor, manufacturer or supplier takes advantage of the consumer’s physical or mental infirmity, ignorance, illiteracy, lack of time or the general conditions of the environment or surroundings to induce the consumer to enter into a sales deal that is grossly one-sided."

"A sales act is unfair when the price of the purchased item grossly exceeds the price of similar items in the market."

I went to my scheduled training, anticipating a call from the customer service of the company. For the whole day I never got a call, I called them 3 times and got the same answer. “Sir iveverify po ng manager antayin nyo po ang tawag namin mamaya”. I already suspected that they were applying again their delaying tactics. After the training I decided again to go up to Baguio, I asked my brother to accompany me and he even drove my motorcycle because I was so sleepy and I just back rode with him. We left Nueva Ecija 8:00 PM and reached La Trinidad almost 12:00 midnight.

The next day, Nov 7, 2009, at around 10:00 AM we again took the items to the Arysta shop. Some staffs who haven’t seen me the previous days, asked me the same questions asked the first time I returned the items. I told them I am returning the items and I just kept quiet. As I was settling things with the manager, I observed that there were again several would be victims inside the shop undergoing same procedure I went before. Maybe for me not to distract their customers and would be victims, the acting manager who talked to me the other day immediately told one of his subordinate staff to issue me a receiving agreement for the items I returned and a refund settlement agreement. The agreement stated that I will be refunded the same money I gave them P51, 900 and the check will be issued after seven working days.

On November 17, 2009, my brother Disuto and I went to claim the check from the Arysta office and deposited it on my bank account on the next day November 18, 2009. Although my money was returned in full amount, I spent and wasted my time transacting with them just to get it back. I was really disturbed by what they did to me. Imagine, they made me buy items I don't need and what's painful is the price is too high, doubled or even tripled. Thanks to the forum postings I've read when I googled about the name Arysta and the Inextron products I bought. What if I haven’t known that I can return the items I bought? How about those victims who haven't known that their rights were suppressed by these deceiving sales agents? Or those victims who realized that they were tricked but just stayed passive?

I think with the continued operations of this company many innocent people will become victims. This DAMN company is easily partaking with the hard earned money of the people.

Please help disseminate that these sales practices of the Arysta agents are illegal. I am currently writing my complaint addressed to DTI Baguio. Let's see what will be their action on this.

Notice this. If you happen to go to their shop it is always guarded by agents so that not anybody can enter, sometimes the door is closed. Their prospected victims(innocent-looking people whom the agents see to have money like me hehe, OFW's because they have money, basta mga mukhang may pera yun ang nilalapitan nila)are the ones just allowed to enter their shop. Notice also there are tarpaulins scattered around their showroom displaying about some of their products but I think its purpose is to cover the foolish things they are performing to fool their intended victims.

  5. me and my mom got scammed yesterday by arysta marketing at elizabeth mall here in cebu city.. they claimed we won some items and have to promote an item which we have to pay for P49, 000.00.. all the free items cost P175, 000.00 total so we thought it was really a bargain.. when we got home, I checked the internet for the prices of the items we won and found out they were actually cheaper than what we thought and they cost P49, 000.00 more all less so it was like we were paying for the items we allegedly won.. and I also found out that there were also other victims that experienced the same scam we had including you.. I hope they will stop this lie they term as marketing strategy because not only did they violated the consumer's act but also broke our trust and confidence to their company as well.. my mom used her sister's credit card to pay for the promoted item so we are still in the process of canceling the transaction..

  6. my mom was also asked to sit to that massaging chair, informed that we were the first to win the highest privilege which included P2, 000.00 discount certificate and the following items:

    1. induction cooker
    2. beautymate massager
    3. flatware solingen set - from the tie up points
    4. multipurpose cooker - from the credit card approval number
    5. water purifier - the item we were supposed to promote

  9. same here... grrrr... unluckily im one of them who were scammmed but i did fight for my right to refund my money back to the point of going to the police station and letting them accompany us to settle things up... it was log deliberation until they give in...(grabe ang tatag ng mga face nila)nway.. but that not my main reason why id fight for it but i want to give justice to all they have fooled and as well for them to stop fooling people this is not the end of it...

  11. Please help us. I was recently scammed too and they let me sign an agreement stating that I can't refund my cash but instead they will give me with an item equivalent to the value I deposited. I want to to get my 8k back. The letter looks void though but I am not sure. I am only 22 years old. Please help.

  13. I want the public to know, they are here in Iloilo in the name of HILTON MARKETING at the 3rd Floor of Atrium Mall.
    Ano man ang name ng outlet nila, the same scheme is used and I have been a victim. I know I was deceived when after the transaction and shelling out P50k+, I did not feel good, I know something was not right.
    Imagine me spending more than 50K in less than 1 hour on things I do not need. May modus sila. I am now in the process of taking back my hard earned money. They will have their day!

    1. thank God!!! they called me today. the girl hazel told me that i won from an internet raffle and they gave me a claiming number G-B 6116 and told me to go to their place 2mrw at 2nd floor Harizon Plaza manila.. Thanks to all who posted their experiences.

  14. just today, i received a phone call from a woman named "Dianne Castillo". she insisted that i won from a call raffle(saying that we are only 50 people) who luckily won a face roller massage, clear view eyeglasses, and an alarm system. of course i am not overjoyed upon hearing this :D i knew lot of scams lurking all over innocent people nowadays. she said that i can visit their office at HILTON MARKETING at the 3rd Floor of Atrium Mall and are open daily until 7:30pm. me and my husband searched the internet and found out about this site.thanks! we are 100% sure not to waste our time just to drop by their office to find out if they were real. i hope nobody gets fooled.

A woman named michelle cruz called me she said shes from uthama electronics company that we won in a raffle draw that we have to claim the prize at the greentop 3rd floor atrium mall iloilo city.i have doubt so isearch their company on net finding out that it was a scam.thank u that ifound this page.

  15. i just filed a compliant in DTI. And I am pretty sure this is same with I HOME company the one who just tricked me into paying 55,900.00. I do not undersatnd why these people can still continuously operate even after many allegations and law suits! sobra!!!
    I went to the office of our City Mayor and it seems that no one is interested to listen kasi matagal nang case to... grabe

I am also a victim of I home enterprises located in davao. i shell out 5k as initial deposit and they allow me to bring home the beautymate massager. di ko rin nagamit until now. same strategy ang ginamit nila-overwhelming at di ka talaga mka pag-isip ng maayos. they dont even allow me to call my husband and warn me not to divulge that i won a lot of prizes, its a gift daw because its their anniv. ma refund pa kaya yung deposit ko? pls help. thanks

  16. I hope that this will end. napasara na ang Arysta na yan but they are back in business now with a different name: IHOMES Enterprise. I can'tr believe that after all the trouble the first victims have gone through by trying to close this, nkakalusot pa rin sila! What is the mayor doing? why are they allowing this under their watch? what is the Portavaga management doing? I am pretty sure that they are aware of this.

  17. omg! i am victm too last July :( i dont know where cla nagtransfer kc wala na cla sa Robinson's IMUS. sabi nila 12 months installment tapos 6 months lang pala! almost 60 thou un 5 items. same strategy...kesyo i won something. i was pressured. di ko alam bat ako pumayag swipe nila CC ko :( they go by the name iHOME kesyo may kiosk daw cla sa Home Depot and i can check their items there to see the actual price. todo CONGRATS cla sa akin. ansaya saya nila...ako naman nagpaTANGA. parang na overwhelmed ako. ayun nasa bahay pa rin lahat nung items. di ko alam pano iassemble ung water purifier. di ko pa natetest if they work kc nakabox pa rin. what must i do...i wish to return the items and cancel na lang the CC transaction :(

Wow!after a long discussion and drama... finally they admitted that it was their strategy... to make you believe you've won... even up to their Customer's Service personnel tried to trick us, telling me that they'll just offset they 20K we've paid for the chair massager... There you go!!! first and foremost the it's the item they've told us we've won, and now we'll be paying for it! BANG!!! Got you!!! We returned the stuff and with of course with my bursting anger insisted to let them give back the money right away... Don't mess with the real DAVAO PEOPLE!!! we're peace loving people, and don't want someone messing it!!!! They payed right away!!! Thanks for this Blog, it really helped a lot!!!

  23. BEWARE Davao City People... the name of the deceiving company is Hillton Marketing, 2nd Floor Lachmi Emporium. Marketing Strategy is not "DECEIVING YOUR CUSTOMER"... good actors huh! tsk! tsk! tsk!

I was recently called by this Hilton Mrketing via telephone, telling me they are affiliated with PLDT company. nanalo daw ako nang raffle sa PLDT at makukuha ang prizes sa hilton marketing dito sa gaisano country mall sa cebu.. same tactics, they gave a verification code and asked to claim the prize within the day.. I urgently went to hilton marketing, I was devastated knowing it was a scam.. pero hindi nila ako naloko, but I experienced all their foolish tactics,very same tactics with arysta marketing pero bago siguro ito nilang tactics na sabihin na affiliated daw sila sa PLDT.... tnx for this blog...

Un time limit n it's just valid for today, un nakikipagkwentuhan sila sa yo to get to know you are all valid marketing strategies, but they are confusing the buyers and are using elaborate lies to convince you to buy from them.

    Sometimes you won't even realize you've been a victim yourself, until it's too late at naka paglabas ka na ng Pera.. Nakakagulat Lang na ang dami nito nakalat sa bUong pilipinas na branches, at located pa sila mga malls. Ibig sabihin kumikita sila at Madami sila naloloko pa rin kaya Ingat po

Habang kinakausap ko yung babae sa phone(name daw nya is "DIANNE MENDOZA" from makati), nagtataka ako bakit ako mananalo eh wala naman akong ginawa or sinalihan na raffle. Too good to be true ika nga. Sabi nya, nanalo ako ng prizes at i-claim ko daw sa HILTON 2nd floor LACHMI building dito sa DAVAO. Nagbigay pa nga ng code para i-present ko kay KATE DELA CRUZ of HILTON marketing. Kawawa naman ung mga nabiktima at magiging biktima nila. tsk tsk

LOL okay, I received a call that I won a portable vacuum, a gadget to play 10,000 games online (I'm a gamer but seriously, really, WTF is that? never heard anything like it) and etc. as in lots of gifts because our landline number won on their anniversary churva lol. She even gave me a claim code. In fact, I did not join any contest. This is too good to be true and I'm no sucker. So, beware of this HIllton marketing 2nd floor lachmi bldg. I searched the web and this appeared first. They are indeed scammers. Thank a bunch for this blog. ^ ^

  32. Meron na rin sila branch dito sa cainta sta. Lucia mall. My husband anf i were victims judt today. We were overwhelmed sa mga free gifts daw and pinapa realize nila samin ung total prize of the items compared sa icacash out namin. Kaya pla kahit ano tanggi namin ang dami nila bunibigy na options para lng makapah deposit. At un nagawa nila kami maging tanga and na convince kami nag debit sila ng 5k sa atm ko and balil na lng daw kami for the remaining balance at para makuha na namin ibang items.

    Buti nabasa ko blog about them kc super convinced ako sa knila. Balik ako tom to refund my 5k and will ask help sa mga kakilala namin sa crame.

    I just want to ask for those na narefund ang pera nila. Binigay ba agad ung pera on the same day nag complain ka sa knila or pag aantayin kapa nila?.

  35. o my God, I was nearly victimized and fooled by this damn modus at hilltom marketing, 3rd floor, the atrium mall, iloilo city. Thank God I didn't have my ATM and credit card with me dat tym and I don't have enough cash in my wallet. If i only had... for sure I was also victimized by their damn tricks and hypnotism. thanks for your comments and for sharing your experiences.Lets look for ways on how to prosecute them!

  36. Na refund ko ung 5k na nakuha sakin pumunta agad ako sa admin and the security head officer helped us na kausapin ung manager (i doubt na kung manager talaga cya). Pinapunta nila ung manager ng hilton sa admin office and dun ko na kinausap ung manager regarding sa modus nila. Cyempre todo tanggi at kaya daw ako nang gagalaiti sa galit dahil sa mga nabasa ko sa internet.

    Tinakot ko cya na dati na sila na report sa bitag and xxx at kaya kaya ko ulit sila i pa media. Then kumalma ang manager and willing daw sila ibalik ung pera but it will take 7 days processing period. Hindi ako pumayag at nagsabi ako na di ko sila titiglan pag di na process on that day ung refund ko. Namagitan din ung security head at pinagsabihan ung manager na sumunod na lng sa gusto ko.

    Kung sino sino na tinawagan ng baklang manager. Sinabihan ko pa cya na tigilan ang panloloko at mag resign na cya. Aba ang bakla nagpasalamat pa sa advise ko di daw nya alam na ganon company nya. Napaka plastic!

    So ang resulta ng pag mamaldita ko sa kanila at pananakot ay nakuha ko agad ang pera ko di na kami dumaan sa procesing period nila na for sure panloloko na naman.

    Bottomline, wag magpa sindak. Unahan mo sila ng sindak and make sure may kasama ka na taga mall admin bago mo sila kausapin para matulungan ka.

    Sa ngayon iiniipon na lng ng sta. Lucia mall ang mga nagrereklamo at gagawan na nila ng aksyon.

  40. I just got a phone call from Asian network Development Corporation exactly 5:00 in the afternoon today November 4, 2012. The caller name Hazel (I forgot her last name), sabi nya I was one of the lucky people who will receive free gift from their company kasi daw anniversary nila and ung gift is "alay pasasalamat" ng company nila.


    Nung sinabi nya un, nag duda na agad ako pero patuloy pa rin akong nakikipag usap sa kanya.

    May binigay xa na code "QE6006" and valid for 2 DAYS daw. Pwede i-claim ang gift sa HILTON MARKETING, lachmi Davao City.

    Eto pa ang phone number na binigay nya kung san pwede ko daw xa tawagan "02 - 551 - 0530"

    Kaduda duda naman kasi kaya nag search ako, at dito ako s apage na to nag land. Buti na lang nabasa ko to bago ko pa maisipan puntahan ang company na yan.

  42. my mom and I was victim with Hilton marketing company the same deceitful company as Arysta and Home Sonic. we've been fooled and now where taking action of this. this day we went to there shop and give us false guarantee. they said that the "7 day money back guarantee" means it was item to be change. foolishness! it is clearly stated on the receipt, money is the term guarantee and not item change guarantee. when my Bp increased that's the time they made my mom to fill up complaint form and tomorrow there customer service will call us,and now I realized there is no need to wait for false guarantee call from there customer service after reading the person who shared his experience. according to the law of republic act no 7394, they are liable to honor the guarantee which is the "7 day money back guarantee" that the Hilton staff and I were arguing about. that is why this night i prepared myself to defense our rights as consumer. because I know there going to argue again on their false guarantee and will challenge you to even state other companies who had this kind of money back guarantee. I hope Hilton will cancel the settlement at bpi or issue us a check worth 60,700 that we transact at the bank using credit card. madlang pipz',please I barely need help if you have any advise you can give to get our money back. what if this happened to your love ones? come to think of it, you may also spread this scam at fb,twitter,etc. let's give an action'

Biktima po ako at ayaw ko na sana na may mabibiktima pa kaya po humingi ako ng tulong sa mga pulis para tuluyan na po silang mapasara. FCk! this just happened to me here in Cebu at parkmall mandue...i first recieved a call from my landline stating that i won a prize and should claim it on arysta in parkmall....then the "thing" happened just as stated above..during the last part when the lady started to subtract the 2000 i started to realize that this was just some kind of marketing strategy to lure their victims..i even noticed that the massage chair box was already on the trolley! damn good thing my atm bank was offline today so i couldnt withdraw some money for the deposit..knowing that, nawala yung bibo nang mga sales stuff parang nang hihinayang...lol

  67. Just received a call minutes ago. I'm from Cebu and the caller said our landline no. won anniversary prizes (2 items) from PLDT. The prizes are to be claimed in Gaisano Country Mall (Hilton Claiming Center). She even gave me a claiming code: AJ932006 and a contact person: Maricel Reyes with no. 2315238/2315230. I asked the caller what company she's from and she said Uthama Electronic Co. Good thing I searched for the details online and found out that this was a scam!

Same here, Michelle Cruz from UTHAMA Electronics called me and informed me same things, like i won the raffle, claim prize in 2 days, no money involved, no items to buy, no gimiks, just claim the free gift that she could not even explain how to use that electronic item. I saw this blog yesterday, so when she called in today to confirm if i will claim it, i straightly told her that this is a SCAM and she hanged on me right away. Beware of this SCAM. She said they are located in HomeSonic Grdn flr of Starmall in Shaw blvd.

  74. My Father answered the call yesterday. Sabi sa kanya nanalo daw sya ng gift item... and kailangan i-claim sa isettan recto.
    I told him na scam yun and wag patulan.
    Tumawag this morning and ako nakasagot. I was wise enough kaya nagtanong ako sa kanya. iHomes, UCC located daw ang office sa Ayala, Makati. And I asked for the exact address ng building, wala maibigay. sabi lang HSBC building 3rd floor... hanggang sa naburido and sinabi na ang Tatay ko daw ang kausap and hindi ako kaya tatawag daw siya ulit. Sabi ko di na siya kailangan tumawag. Nagmatigas and tatawag daw siya ulit. And binagsakan ako ng phone. LOL!

  75. Just experienced this kind if marketing strategy kanina from Greentop Marketing here in Batangas City. Buti na lang we don't have credit cards and I didn't allowed my mother to use my atm. Also, I wouldn't want to spend 60k on items na hindi ko naman alam if reliable ung brand or just because of the one hour (more or less) marketing strategy of their sales persons. After we said that we wouldn't buy the products worth 60k, deadma na lang ung mga sales person which is really contradicting to their initial friendly personality.

    I hope this will serve as a warning especially sa mga people here in batangas city.

Naniniwala ako na naglipana ang mga masasamang tao sa mundo. Sama sama nating alamin ang ating mga karapatan at putulin natin itong masasamang gawain. Ipagdasal niyo ako sa aking sisimulan na laban para maibalik pinaghirapan ng aking pamilya.

Sbi nys wla. ska ndi sya mahilig sumali, ako lng mahilig sumali pero i gave my cellphone number. So nagtaka ako kc wlang hnanap n name yung caller tas nanalo?. may bngay pang landline, tntwgan ko not in service so dun p lng naghinala n ko. Same story, supposedly an anniversary gift to be claimed, with ref # given, gift can be claimed at Michikawa, RiverBanks mall form 12n-8pm. She also gave their hotline number: 7750364. Good thing my mom didn't go to that place. Scammers everywhere!

      But we'll also try to go to the police station for a report. :)

Pinapupunta ako ngayun sa sta lucia 3rd floor at i claim ko daw sa HILTON. natatawa ako habang kausap ko sya, d ko lang masabi ng diretso na alam ko na tong scam na to. Muntik na ako before, same marketing strategy, pinapunta pa kami sa ave hotel, libre pa dinner hehe. anyway I ask saan nya nakuha number ko, sabi nya may record daw sila ng lahat ng number sa marikina, sabi ko "really?" sabay tawa. anyway i claim ko daw today, natural d ko pupuntahan. paasahin ko lang sila gang mapagod hehe

  86. For those who were scammed in Antipolo all you need to do are the following:

    1. Photocopy all your receipts.
    2. Go to COLVERN shop and tell them that you will return the products because you don't need them.
    3. Ask for an assurance that a service representative will call you within the day. If not you will go to the police station for a blotter.
    4. Bring all the products and return it to the shop.
    5. Ask for a refund settlement form.
    6. Wait for 7 days for your check. (Ipa-blotter nyo na agad para pag talbog yung cheke. Kulong agad sila.) Thanks.

They had a store inside the hotel called Hotel H2O. they also were selling Colvern products and they did the same act of pretending that you won a certificate. My brother came with me but i got duped. so beware!

So ginawa ko tumawag ako sa pldt hoping na meron sila record nun number badtrip lang sabi ba nman wala silang way para malaman un number na tumawag samin ang tanging paraan lang daw ay magpakabit kami ng caller id mga kumag talaga

Ganyan din dito sa Davao City sa may NCCC mall, exactly the same marketing strategy and ginagawa nila to make customers believe that they hit a jackpot prize by only paying 58,000 for 5 or 6 items including the induction cooker, massaging chair,beauty massaging, ozonizing machine, weighing scale at kung anu-ano pa. I was almost convince although I have money,I felt hesitant to take back home because I dont need the products agad-agad. What I did was I gave then a reservation fee worth 2,000. While at my work I browse the net to look for testimonies about iHome enterprises, which shocked me about the many negative blogs about this scam. Buti na lang 2,000 lang naibigay ko. In the consumer's act, may right pa kaya ako na kunin ang 2,000 ko. Sayang din naman yon, pinagpaguran ko kaya ang perang yon.

BUTI na lang sinunod q instinct ko na di pumunta, tumawag aq sa Bayantel qng totoo ba na anniversary nila at ang sabi ng customer service ay HINDI.. so nagduda na tlga aq na SCAM to, then nagresearch aq sa net about that UNIVOX at eto na nga SCAMMER tlga!!.. thanks God di aq nabiktima.,

  107. Wow! i was very amazed of this article. It was exactly the same procedure and experience that happened to me 4 hours ago at Food Consolacion, Cebu. Thank God for my husband who came to fetch me. He told me we don't need those things, he told me that we will take our dinner first and think about the offer. We left the store UNIVOX and discussed about it in a nearby resto. He searched the internet about this thru his phone and told me it was a scam or a marketing strategy. I was a bit sad that we turned down the offer. but when i opened this blog site, I thanked God for affirming our decision. Thank God for his guidance.   111. just got the same call today . Should be 30 yo and above, 1 valid id to be able to claim the free gift item. Good thing I Google that IHOME first and my suspicion proves me right. They're here now at 2nd floor GAISANO GRAND MALL TAGUM CITY looking for innocent victims. i dont know where they get our home number. The caller told me that i should be there 7pm..haha if only i could set up an entrapment. I feel so bad right now that i can't do anything about it. I just hope that my fellow Tagumenyos wont fall over to this kind of modus. :(

They give us a lot of free gifts and we negotiated for more.I believed we got seven more items. I gave them my Master Card and my ID and they entered the transaction thru their Bank I guessed. They got it all Packed and with all Colvern Warranties Card.Itong si Bading na Alex Colot ang pangalan ay kinuhanan pa kami ng Pictures at i Publish daw nila sa Magazine Nila.Pinasama nila sa amin ang dalawang bagong Recruits nila na galing pa ng Mindanao at Visaya. Nag Taxi kami pabalik sa Rented Condo namin sa Quezon City. Set up nila ang mga items na dala namin at binigyan pa ni Mrs ng mga Candy ang mga ito. Without knowing we got SCAMMED I tried to use the Energy Cooker and tried to look for Instruction Manual.We looked and looked without finding it. So we called the Numbers in the Receipt with no answers.Wala ding sumasagot sa phone number na binigay ni Bakla. Doon naghinala si Mrs at google search ang sunod na hakbang nya and BOOM ...BINGO SCAM nga pala itong Hilton Marketing at ARYSTA Marketing na ito.Parehong Pareho ang nangyari sa Amin. Next step we checked our Temporary Transactions at the Web Site and called the Fraud Division of the US MasterCard and reported the SCAM Incident we had in the Philippines.They flagged the transactions and cancelled our Credit cards Account. Now they were in Limbo now. They are afraid to get hold of us. we got the merchandise and we are back in Old USA. We got some of the merchandise and give the rest to other relatives.We got EVEN I guess for all those who got SCAMMED.   116. I was also a victim last month ago at Lachim Mall, San pedro st. Davao City. I was so disappointed kc akala ko ang mga taga Davao hindi manloloko kc number 4 pa nman cla sa most Liveable or safest place to live in the world.... Malapit lang po ito sa old city hall ng Davao, tapos gumagamit pa cla ng pangalan ng isang former councilor na lawyer daw. Buti na lng na lng napa cancel ko ang transaction ko the following day pero still coordinating with my Credit Card Company kc floating pa daw ang transaction ko. Hilton Marketing po ang ginagamit nila tapos habang naglalakad k salubong ka nila and sabi nila my free t-shirt magdemo lng daw cla sayo pero yun pla my mga tricks n you have won this one and this one up to 7 items. I salute them for their marketing strategies pero sana ma regulate din ito ng local government renewal pa nman ng business permit this January 2014. Take note Hilton Marketing sa LaChimi mall, san pedro st., Davao City, tapos mayroon din dw yata cla branch sa ncc mall pero iHome naman gamit sa SM yata myroon din pero dko alam ano naman giangamit nila name. The feeling that u really won was there! Glad that I am mature enough to think that everything has its price! U may have been given such 2K gift certificate but then u have to spend it in purchasing their products!!!! Hahaha!!!!! I'd rather buy a CDr King induction stove than purchasing the same with them. At least kung masira man agad, OK lang. By the way, this happened here in Davao, specifically their outlet is located at the 2nd floor of the Lachmi Plaza (San Pedro street).

Nagharap harap kmi dun at isinalaysay ko kung paano ang ginawa s akin ng mga budol budol. gumawa kmi ng agreement na ibabalik ng full refund ang pera ko. pero dpa d2 nagtatapos dahil ang gusto ng pamahalaan ng los banos na ituloy ang kaso s greentop ng matigil na ang kanilang operasyon. makipag tulungan po tayo sa kanila kailangan po na masampahan sila ng kaso kahit ibalik pa nila ng buo ang pera natin ng sa gayon ay wala ng mabiktima at mapaalis sila. Taga Davao po ako.. So I was believing na walang ganyan dito sa Davao... There office is located at Victoria Plaza, 2nd FLOOR. Ang pangalan ay MICHIKAWA Interprise, sa harap ng department store... Buti nalang, I searched to the internet, kasi pag hindi ko pa ginawa, cguro naluluko narin ako ngayon. This BULL SHIT way of marketing plan. They are doing this kind of tactic to lure the customers without even thinking na BUMILI sila, na yung na receive nila ay HINDI FREE...

    After I found this BLOG and read the whole story, I called their company and confirmed it, tinakot ko pa sila na magdadala ako ng STAFF sa DTI. Then the woman told me that I can cancel that OFFER and they will give it to the other people. "Parang takot yung boses ng babae, parang nanginginig while answering me".

While they were clapping and cheering, I said to myself, this is so good to be true. Muntik n akong magpurchase. Out of the blue nabigay ko ung credit card ko and they check something. However i didnt sign anything and didnt purchase anything and no receipt. I excused myself for a while pretending calling my mom. I accessed internet on my phone. Good thing i was able to see this blog. I called the credit card company and good thing no transaction has been made. I blocked my credit card number and replace it just in case if they would use my card number and forge my signature because of my id that i gave when i received a freebie.

    Humihingi din sila ng donation at nagpapalibre. Kunwaring Nanalo ka ng 2thou na gift certificate, na dun sa araw na yon mo lang magagamit, ang daming hinarap na mga prices, yun pala di naman mapapasaiyo, kung di ka bibili ng products nila. Ginamit pa c Kris aquino, Kuya Germs at Angelica Jones na endorser daw nila.

Just today I was called by my brother coz someone called our landline saying she is "DIANNE MENDOZA" from "HILTON MARKETING" and that I have won a gadget among the 20 subscribers of Globe Telecom. My bro was told that the prize can be claimed only til tomorrow... nakapagtataka na wala naman kaming pinagbigyan ng landline number namin but how then they were able to access it?? Masama pa rin ang kutob ko coz it must be from an authorized Globe Center, I immediately contacted the globe agent who arranged our subscription and denies that they don't have such promo. Right then I tried to search in google, "Hilton+Lachmi" and found this post. I am so thankful that this confirmed my doubts on that phone call. SCAM NGA TALAGA. I wonder what took them long enough to stay in that establishment... sana matigil na yang mga ganyang panloloko.

  161. Me din po naging SCAM victim ng I-HOME enterprise located at 2nd floor issetan recto manila. Same ang styl nila sa panloloko. Nakapag bigay dn ako ng 3000, pero may binigay sakin colvern multipurpose cooker. D ko alam kung tama lang ung 3k para sa item o baka triple sa regular price ng multipurpose cooker na ito.pero pinapabalik pa ako kc huloghologan ko nalang daw yong halagang 57,900 para maowe ko daw yong lahat ng napanalonan ko sa tinatawag nilang hugot bunot kono. Isang induction cooker, bluetooth home theater, body fat scale, beuty male massager. Pero dina ako babalik tamana yong isang bisis lang nila ako maloko. Gusto ko din sana produck nila kaso subrang napakataas ng presyo nila.

  162. Thanks a lot for this post, it really helps a lot considering we almost fooled by this Arysta Scam. Someone called in from our PLDT telephone telling that we won a prize of body fat scale together with an internet card. Fortunately, we find a time to Google this Arysta company cause we have a feeling that this was a scam until we saw this blog and we confirmed it that this was all joke. Thanks for this post because it prevents us from being fooled.

  164. kahapon my tumawag via landline taga UTAMA electronics daw, swerte raw aku kac pasok aku sa 20 na napili nila give aways daw ung entertainment card or home electronics, eclaim ku sa GREEN TOP 3rd floor atrium iloilo..e claim ku kac libre namn sayang!!.LOL,..ingat ung may mga credit card VISSA, MASTER CARD..wag ibigay sa kanila o bigyan sila ng info about sa credit card nyo..

  167. Nabiktima ang nanay ko na 66 yrs old ng HILTON MARKETING NG LACHMI MALL DAVAO. A certain Michael Kanakan approached my mom outside jollibee san pedro. Invited here to visit their store bec they have a promotion for their anniv.My mom said she is not Interested if its related to sales. The sales guy named Michael assured my mom that there is no sales invloved. Inside Hilton Marketing, she was asked to sit down on the massage chair. 10 people inside the store, flocked around here and Informed her to get a coupon for the raffle. she was informed that she won the highest award which is the massage chair worth 87k. Everyone was shouting congratulations. But she was informed that she can claim the prize if after she fill out their form. Everytime she was asked for qualifying questions like if she has a landline, cable, credit card, and so forth, they gave her a corrspondig prize.a total of 6 prizes. She felt uncomfortable when she was asked if she has a credt card and how much is the limit. She was asked to pay 60, 700 just for the stove induction only so she can get items.my mom said that she n3eds to ask permission from my father 1st. So she was asked to deposit 2000, which she did using her bpi debit card as a reservation and so they can deliver the items to our address. They came here in our house, the 2 agents Michael Kanakan and Analyn Hersano.They did a demo on how to use the massage chair, induction cooker,etc. My father was hesitant bec he felt something was wrong. They brought with them their bdo terminal so my mom could swipe the remaining 58, 700 , which she did. But before swiping the card, the agent informed my mom to call bpi toll free to verify that the transaction was legit. The sales briefed my mom that if ever he bank will ask where they are, to inform them that theu are in the office and not in our house. They asked my mom to treat them lunch bec they were hungry. My mom even bougt food for the two of them. After they left, my mom and dad felt uneasy bec they felt they didnt win be they paid 2000 cash and 58, 700 using their credit card.my mom called me and I was furious bec I already knew of their marketing strategy. I heqded home and scolded my mom why she was scammed and believed those stupod people. Bec she is not the type that spends that much. I was not able to sleep and cant wait for the next day bec I will really go to their office. Mornig came, I was eith my mom and my boyfri3nd to back me up at 9am. As we were headig their office, everyone was looking at us.when we came inside they greeted my mom good morning, but I was very angry and said. "Sino amg nagbenta at pumunta sa bahay namin kahapon? That michael and analyn came to us and said they were the ones. I was furious and shouting. I said "ISASAULI NAMIN ANG MGA ITEMS NYO DAHIL MANLOLOKO KAYO.SAM KAYO. MISINFORMATION AT MISREPRESENTATION ANG GINAGAWA NYO"at kung ano ano pa ang sinabi ko. Sngagot ako ng putang inang Supervisor named Dennis Madriaga at binastos kami.Tapos sumabat at nagalit bf ko. Sinabihan nya yung baklang supervisor na bastos sya. Nag walk out at nagkulig sa loob ng office nila ang supervisor. Nagwala ako at sumigaw at boyfriend ko. Hinamon namin cya na lumabas dahil bastos cya at wag magtago. Nagkagulo kami. Dumati yung manager at nagdadak dak ako at bf ko. Nanay ko tahimik the whole time kasi natatakot. Sabi ngmanager wag daw agad magmura. Sabi ko magmumura ako kelan ko gusto kasi customer kami at manloloko kayo. Ma tumawag sa akin na from manila daw pero duda ako na andun lang din yun sa kwarto ng opisina nila. Nagdemand kami na bayaran kami at void or reverse nila transaction. Ayaw nila dahil magbabayad na lang daw sila ng cheke pero 7 workig days at may charge na 3%. Kesa magpa reverse pa ng transaction it would take 3 mos daw at may 3% pa rin na bank charge. Dahil sa retail ako nagtatrabaho, sinabi ko kalokohon na may charge na 3% bank charge kasi wala yan. At di 3 mos ang reversal. Matagal na ang 2 weeks. Dahil nag aargue kami duon, pumayag na lang ako at pinirmahan ang refund slip at complaint form.

    1. same scenario sa amin ng husband ko dito sa cavite...i suggest submit a formal complaint either to any : DTI, City or municipal business licensing division. You may also file a charge dispute to your credit card (bank) Also ask the mall administrator if they can help you..... bring all supporting documents like invoice, DR.

  168. Panloloko na naman kasi dinna, an nagchacharge ng 3% ang bangko. Pero di pa ako tapos. Humanda sila asa panloloko nila ayokong may ibamg tao lalo na matatanda ang madamay pa. Buti na lang pinicturan cla sa bahay.
